A favorite use for that leftover Thanksgiving turkey! This one pot, 30 minute meal is simple and delicious.
A one-pot-wonder! And it worked great. It takes a little bit more time this way as you need to wait for the rice to cook but it sure makes clean-up easy. If you want to be more efficient, you could cook the wild rice separately (while cooking the bacon and poultry) and then add it to the soup at the end. You really can't go wrong with this one!
Chili and football go together like peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky...the list could go on and on. What's your favorite season? Correct answer: football season. I love making a big spread for game day but every once in a while it's nice to just keep it simple and get a big batch of chili going bright and early.
