No matter where you live there's nothing like getting on the water for some sun-soaked fun. So, what better way to celebrate the bride-to-be than a day out on the lake/river/ocean?! A few key accessories are all it takes to execute a nautical themed bachelorette party. Despite our unsettled Minnesota weather pattern, we were still able to get out on Lake Minnetonka last weekend to give a fabulous lady one last fling before her ring!
Check out all the details below along with where to find all of our favorite accessories! Happy sailing!
The Invite
These customized "Let's Get Nauti" invitations are perfect for an evite or as a printed invite. Visit our contact page to inquire on how to get your custom invite digital download. You provide the details, we'll take care of the formatting.
The Brunch Spread
For a bachelorette brunch, less is more. Let's be honest, a bunch of girls about to spend all day on the lake in swimsuits are not about to load up on your usual delicious brunch foods. A couple healthy options and a carb will totally suffice. PSA - don't leave out the carb option, and encourage even the most health-conscious girls to indulge in a croissant or two...everyone needs a base to soak up all of the booze. Pack a few leftover croissants in a ziplock bag to bring on the boat, you know... just in case.
I loved this idea for a yogurt-bar! Our planner guru/co-host for the weekend brought some fresh fruit, granola, greek yogurt and honey to get brunch started off right! That and her mimosa bar were key components to a fabulous bachelorette brunch!
Our full spread:
- Yogurt Bar
- Vegetarian Egg Bake (asparagus, tomatoes, spinach, peppers and cheese)
- Croissants
- Mojitos
- Blueberry-Mint Water
- Mimosa Bar
For a bachelorette-worthy non-alcoholic drink, infuse water with frozen blueberries and fresh mint! The drink pours out as a bright pink/purple and when mixed with Sprite is the perfect sparkling bev for mom's to be and others who prefer to avoid alcohol. Leave out the Sprite and enjoy the lightly flavored water to re-hydrate post boat!
The Accessories
Because every good bachelorette party needs a great theme - "Let's Get Nauti" is perfect for the nautical themed bachelorette party spent on your favorite body of water. These flowy tanks can be purchased here with 50% of the proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. A simple design on black looks great on everyone - plus, if you happen to have a 35-week pregnant girl on the boat a 2XL may even fit her ;)
Diamond ring drink floaties, giant inflatable and ring shot glasses are our final accessory must-haves. Find them by clicking on the images above (affil).
